Pink Floyd - Santa Monica - Oct, 1970
Artist: Pink Floyd
Title: Bovine Psychosis
Date: 1970-10-23
Location: Civic Auditorium, Santa Monica, California, USA
Sound: VG
Format: FLAC
*Original Sgt Weatherman Tweeks
Original SHN files converted to wave then passed through
wave corrector for de-clicking and channel balance. EQ checked with Nero Wave Editor
then converted to FLAC (correcting SBE's) with Traders Little Helper If you already have this in
SHN don't bother to download as no re-mastering has taken place. I converted to FLAC for a friend who has a phobia about SHN files (Go figure ???).
*I have added some artwork as the "Offical" artwork is rather lackluster mines far more fun.
** I have added my own BrownMouse cover, as I feel it is more conducive to the feel of Pink Floyd.
Original Comments:
Very listenable show from the close of the North American 1970 tour. Only crowd noise is appreciative and does not get in the way of the music!
'Atom Heart Mother' was played with orchestra and choir conducted by Peter Philips.
The show contains one of the best live versions of 'A Saurcerful of Secrets', with some crazy percussive piano played by Wright.
Encore was a 19 minute version of 'Interstellar Overdrive'.
Track Listing:
Disc 1:
01. Astronomy Domine
02. Green is the Colour
03. Careful With That Axe, Eugene
04. Fat Old Sun
05. Cymbaline
Disc 2:
01. A Saucerful of Secrets
02. Atom Heart Mother
03. Interstellar Overdrive
Line Up:
Roger Waters
David Gilmour
Nick Mason
Richard Wright
Roger Wagner Chorale and brass, conducted by Peter Philips

Falkoner Theatret Copenhagen Denmark (On Your Mark)(T-379)
* Original Notes
I got the 1st generation reel to reel tapes recorded at 7 1/2 ips for this in trade from the guy in Denmark who made the original recording. I got them about 1975 or 1976. I've compared the quality of this with other versions of the show and found this to be the best. Like other versions, STCFTHOTS cuts off at the end and AHM seems to be missing some of the beginning.
Shn File
Disc 1
1. (intro / tune up)
2. Careful With That Axe, Eugene
3. Fat Old Sun
4. Set The Controls For The Heart Of The Sun
5. Cymbaline
6. Atom Heart Mother

1. Echoes
2. Saucerful Of Secrets
