I got the 1st generation reel to reel tapes recorded at 7 1/2 ips for this in trade from the guy in Denmark who made the original recording. I got them about 1975 or 1976. I've compared the quality of this with other versions of the show and found this to be the best. Like other versions, STCFTHOTS cuts off at the end and AHM seems to be missing some of the beginning.

This is really good for an almost unknown recording that old! Tweak it a little and you get a really decent Echoes out of it - and plenty more nuggets from the early Floyd years. Stereo and all, up to 20 kHz. Only wish we could have had the recording as it were in 1971 - the tape hasn't been too well preserved. But a very welcome addition to the collection; thanks a lot.
