THE TAPE
I got this in trade many years ago.
It is the best sounding Fall 1971 show I have, though there must be better ones out there.
It is neat for the rare songs.
If you were going to concerts at that time you know that the sound in a basketball arena was
terrible.
A good sounding show from this time is almost impossible to imagine.
So we can only hope for a low gen source:
Where are these original tapes?
Somewhere out there, in some box, somebody has the master, or knows the person who has it.
Anybody......?

------------------------------------------
LINEAGE
audience > unknown generations > to me on cassette > digitized with Audacity > Flac via xAct > you
A raw transfer.
No noise reduction or eq was applied.
Tape player (Nakamichi BX-2) azimuth adjustment was done.
All I did was remove some brief (1-3 seconds) silences and add a fade in or out when the tape
was flipped.
