***Neonknight's Notes***
An enjoyable early DSOTM concert from the usual recorder but using a new source to the general community. "Oh God" exclaims a member of the audience as CWTAE commences. As one who never tires of listening to that particular song I can entirely see what he means!

***Littlepieces' Mastering Notes***
This is a mono recording that was processed as two channel stereo. It has a phase shift that varies some but is generally about 2-5 samples. Both channels were retained and manually aligned to improve the phasing.

I improved the damaged segment near the beginning of Breathe by using the best part of each channel and repaired a dropout near the end of the song. Smoothed the fade out/fade in of The Mortality Sequence to Money and repaired a dropout in Money. Removed 13s repeated segment at beginning of U&T and spliced. Repaired noise at track change to BD and smoothed probable tape change and level drop during BD by using the best part of each channel.

I removed dead air from fade out/fade in near beginning of OoTD that is on all versions. Increased the gain of left channel on CWTAE 1.5db. Replaced the left channel with the right channel on Echoes as the left was 3.5-4db lower and of lower quality. About 5s into Echoes, you can hear the SQ change and signal drop after 6k - this seems to be on all versions. Removed dead air from fade out/fade in at ~15:22m into Echoes. I noted that before Echoes cuts that it has about 15s more content than the R&D source. I increased the gain of left channel 1.5-2.1db on SoS.

The speed of the first set was close enough most of the time and so I decided not to subject it to a SpC/resample. The second set was off a bit more and adjustments from 98.25 to 101.30 were made.

If you had to limit yourself to one Pink Floyd show from 1972, you certainly wouldn't choose this one. In fact, it wouldn't be in your top ten. Still, it's a nice show.

The setlist is unremarkable save for the rarely played (in '72) "A Saucerful Of Secrets." It's an overall good performance including a great "Travel Sequence" and "Any Colour You Like", and the bonus of a edit-shortened "The Mortality Sequence". (Other edits to beware of are a fade out - fade in near the beginning of OOtD and an Echoes cut short.) Sound quality is VG-, listenable with some low end distortion.

Revisions made 08-03-03 by kingjollytrouser:

1.  Edited out gap in One of These Days at 1:28
2.  Fixed digital noise at 1:58 in Time
3.  Edited Echoes at 16:03 to remove fade out/in and gave track a smoother fade out.
I have included both versions of Echoes in case you don't like my edit.
4.  Smoothed out rough edit at 3:40 in Brain Damage and matched end levels to rest of song.
5.  Fixed several songs that had a small portion of their beginning at the end of the previous song.
6.  Removed a few pops/clicks.
7.  Named the ROIO since it didn't seem to have a name!
